Antonio Sanchez details the production of his latest solo release, Bad Hombre, an intensely personal work from the Grammy Award winning drummer/composer/producer, both in terms of the subject matter that inspired it as well as Sanchez’s complete involvement with every facet of its creation. Hearing loss is of special concern to all drummers; with that in mind, the author of the book Anatomy Of Drumming offers an in-depth look at the workings of the human ear and at specific factors that contribute to hearing loss, and offers 18 strategies for avoiding further hearing loss.
