FAQs related to the change in publication schedule.

Q: Which is the last monthly issue? When is the first quarterly?

A: The last issue published monthly was the May 2018 issue, #263. The first quarterly issue will be Summer 2018. You can expect to receive this issue in early- to mid-May and future issues on a quarterly basis after that – for example, Fall 2018 will be delivered in August, Winter 2018 will be delivered in November.

Q: After the change from monthly to quarterly publication, the number of issues remaining on my subscription changed. Why?

A: The duration of your subscription is not changing, but the number of issues being published during that time is. For example, if you had one year remaining on your subscription, you would still receive all issues published in that year - 4 quarterly issues.

Q: Why is this even happening?!

A: This change to our publication schedule is being made in response to feedback and trends, both from the industry and from readers like you. We want to continue to give you a high-quality print magazine, full of the gear coverage, reviews, lessons, and artist profiles you rely on from us. Delivering this in a bigger magazine on a less frequent print schedule means that we have the time and resources to also create a lot of awesome new content on other platforms – like lesson and gear review videos. We hope you’ll like what you see and thank you for sticking with us on this journey.

If you have further questions or feedback to share about the change to the publication frequency, please e-mail DrumService@stringletter.com.
